I feel like the whole Monster Riku thing is a bit ridiculous.
music anime love to lean on this "monstrously talented / threat of hidden potential" trope. it's just a weird ass compliment in the end. see also GIVEN and anonymous noise
Same, like he isn't a freaking psychopath or a literal demon, why Iori is making it seems like he will be bring the end of humanity lmao
I think it's actually really good bc when one single member gets the most attention their fans can become toxic to the other ones. Idolish7 might become Riku and the boys lol
I think the REAL monster is Gaku, for looking that sexy in the rain. :P
Also, how in the hell did they all not slip and fall with their stomping dance on that flooded stage? XD
I worried someone would fall.
I thought that's how they were going to mess up but somehow try to play it off but the performance went smoothly.
Tenn needs to stop making me cry all the time omg T^T
This show is the REAL monster, drawing me in and playing on my emotions -but I love it!
Damn I was also questioning with iori how riku could ever be seen as a monster but when all the lights suddenly turned red it sent chills down my spine. While it may seem like ioris exaggerating on the power riku holds on others ngl I’d be pretty scared of him too if he’s capable of bringing that many people to his side. I also wonder how the other members would’ve reacted when everyone cheered for riku after their performance and not for anyone else
Iori isn't that a bit extreme? What I got from all that is that he's into Riku and freaked out about his POWER and ALLURE!!111!
Iori is gay and panicking.
nobody:
iori: they gon take mah baby!
if they dated tham they woluld be the cursed couole
She be trollin' like a boss.
Lol she treated him like a body pillow xD
Iori, this is a long ass way to say youre into him
its coz of those big damn puppy eyes
B-but... Mitsuki's eyes bigger.....
Passive, manipulative personality traits are dangerous. Especially if the person who has them can't see them for themself and reacts angered upon hearing those claims. Not many people seek help against it - nor does every therapist take this serious enough to heal the patient.
The mental healthcare system needs a serious update around the world.
Iori! Iori I'm getting scared please stop
Seeing Tenn cry was sad, but also so cute.
HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING SCARY
what was scary tho? i was watching this expecting something shocking? was it the weird whispering?
when all the lights turned red at their concert
LOSING MY MIND?!!
that rain-soaked concert was bussin' tho <3
WOW, he was so right about Riku and I can't believe I didn't notice this in 3 full seasons!!! Riku is the perfect image of a baby that gets everything he wants when he cries or demands due to his charming allure that children and little animals emanate to attract empathy!!! Riku truly is a monster! His weapon may actually be even stronger than Tenn, which is WHY IDOLISH beat TRIGGER even though they were not the better band musically in the first season! I can't believe this passed me like that! I always felt something about Riku made him better than the others, but bcs everyone was doing so well and working equally hard, I couldn't notice it, IDOLISH is doing a great job making all the characters shine equally, which is why it is so hard to notice who shines the most!
But true, Nanase Riku IS and will become an even bigger Monster! I am even sure that in the right scenario, he could even bring back TRIGGER in the industry if he were to ask! Incredible!
Actually, she'll fall in love with somebody else.
who? :o
i love you for this spoiler
I feel like Tenn & Iori plot will be tied to Riku. The empathy allure that Riku holds is terrifying and amazing at the same time. Kujo knew this from the start therefore he said Tenn is an angel yet Riku is a monster wow
Riku is so powerful alkdjflakjdf I get it tho, if he asked me to do something with those cute puppy dog eyes I'd have a hard time saying no lmao
I thought they were going to sing Daybreak's Interlude since it starts with the same scene in the MV, but I see what they were going for with Secret Night since that was the first song we associate with Trigger
Normally I'd complain abt how they used the exact animation from the game for multiple of Trigger's pre-performance scenes is lazy work, but with the amount of feels it gave me I can't help but think it was masterful manipulation on directors' side lol
(Also, that's third different song they canonically sang at that stage lmao)
Side note: I'm kinda disappointed they didn't decide to at least translate the "The revolution is starting" line that happens just after the bridge, it would resonate with this ep perfectly
I remember this whole Tenn-Riku allure comparison, but now it makes all the more sense why Iorin doesn't fail (yet?) where Kujo did - Iori decides to be as greedy as Riku while being as giving as Tenn to "control" the monster, whereas Kujo by now can only "take", thus restraining even the "give it all" Tenn's talent with his greed, instead of balancing it (actually, likeTrigger actually does for Tenn, with Gaku challenging him and Ryuu being the constant support). Spoiler, but I also love how
Imagine them twin go duo. The true n final answer to beat Zero
Ptyhag's little group hug was so cute!
WAIT HERE!!
I'LL GO GET THE BLANKET!!
yeah sure let's compare a human adult to animals and children nothing wrong with that I'm sure
Riku is still a high school student like Iori, Tamaki, that green haired dude from ZOOL, and Tenn (Though Tenn never was shown to go to school), but I get what you mean lmao
Tenn and Riku are in their 20's actually
Huh?! I just searched it online and they said they are 18 years old only. when did they become in their twenties?!
In s1 there was this time everyone in idolish7 drank, and it was explicitly stated they were not of high school age and older of Nagi that is 19 years old
Rewatch season 1
Yeah I don't re-watch shows for some reason even if I highly love them, but If you say so then it's cool. I actually prefer idol animes with mostly/all adult characters since I'm an adult myself so it's more relatable that way (And it doesn't feel odd when you think they are hot lmao).
He's not a high school student
Yeah I get it, he was a high school student in first season apparently. I searched it online and he is now supposedly 18.
that can't be right riku and ten are 18 right, never heard they're still in school
Yeah they 18 lmao I was mistaken.
Riku is not in high school he's 18-19
Lol Gaku telling the fans not to upload pictures of Tenn crying was so funny, I like how he knows Tenn will be bothered by the pictures when they go online and I find it amusing he'd still request that even though it's all being streamed anyways.
I'm happy for TRIGGER and their fans that it went well with no issues, it's unfortunate to see passing comments of how the mighty has fallen but the fact they're still fighting in those conditions just make them all the more respectable. It hurts to see Anesagi crying and down because the boys doesn't deserve what they're going through but I'm sure we'll continue to see them on stage as they've finally taken a step forward.
Seeing the whole audience change their lightsticks and cheer for Riku was so surprising, I was so confused by that because one, it's Iori's center song and I'm sure there should be a bunch of fans that might not even like Riku or are diehard fans of a certain member, if Riku's allure is that powerful that he can make any fan/person emphathize with him, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. I'm curious to see what the consequence of his allure will be.
